Our Portrait Art
We began our art work by completing the background to our portrait. We used marbles dipped in paint to create a background.
We put the photo of our face in a laminating pouch and using a vivid we drew over the main lines we could see in the photo on to the laminating pouch. The laminating pouch then had our marbled background placed in it and laminated. This is how they turned out.....
When we reflected on our art works we found out that we really enjoyed painting the background of our portraits with the marbles. We think the portraits with the lighter background paint colours are easier to see and if we were to complete this activity again we would use this to improve our art works. We enjoy looking at our portraits and are proud of the work we have produced.
