We are all unique

As part of our  Keeping Ourselves Safe unit we looked at why we are all so unique and special.  We drew a self portrait and wrote about 4 things that we were good at.  We did a fabulous job at completing this task. Check them out......

A visit from Constable Paul

Constable Paul came to visit and teach us about Keeping Ourselves Safe. We have been learning our phone numbers and our address so we can use this if we are lost or need some help. We have been learning how to say 'stop it, I don't like it", if we are in a situation we don't like and most importantly to tell someone if we don't feel safe. Thanks Constable Paul for coming to visit us and teaching us some really important things.

We went to visit Harold

Weka Tēina were very excited to be visiting Harold in the Life Education bus. We learnt about Keeping Ourselves Safe when playing in different areas and people that can help us to keep safe.  We enjoyed watching the videos of Harold and his friends and how they were keeping themselves safe too. We even went into space. We enjoyed giving Harold a special wave.

We are at the beach or the lake for writing

We used a picture prompt for our writing this week. We live close to the beach and near a lake so we have all had experiences there. Read some our writing about what we have done there.
